Dancing Hearts Retreat

Join us at Mariposa Institute,  Ukiah, CA, for a beautiful weekend of the Dances of Universal Peace with local dance leaders.

The Mariposa Mission is to steward the 115 acres of oak woodland given to their care and to offer up this refuge to the local community in Ukiah, California.  They are just 8 minutes west of the high school, so while quiet and secluded, it takes no time to arrive in another world. They have fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 26' diameter carpeted yurt, two dormitories, 3 full baths, and plenty of space to camp.

 

We gather Friday afternoon and share a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 8 p.m. Friday and ends on Sunday with lunch and cleanup. Please bring a potluck dish for dinner on Friday, and your own breakfast and lunch for the weekend. Saturday dinner will be provided. Also, bring your own bedding or sleeping bag, towel, toiletries, flashlight, soft-soled shoes for dancing and maybe an altar object.

Cost: The cost of the retreat (retreat, lodging, Saturday dinner): $111 before ?,_____ $150 after. Discounted option for those under 30: $50. (Please call if qualify). We acknowledge the presence of COVID-19. Our Dancing Hearts Retreat event will be subject to change. Should cancellation be necessary, refunds will be available to all participants.

 

Scholarship: Some need-based sliding scale scholarships are available for musicians as well as some earth-plane karma yoga positions. Please follow up with registrar if interested.

 

Cancellation: If you cancel prior to 1 week before the event, payment will be refunded less $20 processing fee. If you cancel during the week of the event, it is a 50% refund. If you do not show up at the event, there is no refund.
